Engagement fever anyone??

So me and my boyfriend have been together for over a year and a half. I’m 27 and he’s 32. Our relationship is as close to perfection as perfection can be. I mean we have our disagreements but I can honestly say I’ve never been happier. He’s patient with me and when he says he loves me I can feel that he truly does.  It’s like Christina Aguilera’s ain’t no other man song. He’s so different than any man that I have ever been with. Lately I’ve been having the urge to wanting to take the next step with him. You know how some women get baby fever. Well I’ve got engagement fever!! On fb and ig I see all these beautiful rings all over my timeline and I just imagine the day he eventually does propose to me. And no I don’t want to get engaged to be engaged. He’s the only person I’ve ever felt this for. I told him about my engagement fever and he knows how wacky I am. I even told him that it can be a long engagement so we can save up for the wedding that we want. I know some people are going to be like it’s too soon but if you had a man that was as amazing as he is you may want to lock that down fast too. Please no negative comments I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever felt this way?

Yes. I’ve been with my bf for 3 years and send him photos of rings I like constantly. 🤣 We are moving into our new home in January so $ is tight therefore I don’t see him proposing for another year at least.😒

Same 😭😭 literally went through so many bad relationships & finally found my one. We always talk about our future wedding/babies & we’ve been looking at homes. 
I want him to purpose to me!! But at the same time I don’t want to be pushy to the point he does it to make me happy. When he purposes I want it to be his own idea, that he himself sees us together in the future. You know? 
I gave him a little push telling him even if he purposed tomorrow I would say yes. After that no more talk from me 🤐 I want it to come out of his own mouth & head lol

I get you! In my partners words “ we’re going to be together forever and I already consider us married”. This mentality of his has led to him calling me ‘wifey’ 😒when we are in public, in front of family, friends, strangers and I have to tell him off because I am not that. And if he wants to say that then get a ring!!! 
I blame his parents they have been together for 40 years but never got married, grr! He said he will do it as it is something that I want, so ball is in his court 😂 coz if he wants kids he’s gonna have to step up 😊

My advice to you is to start a Pinterest board and keep it to yourself, don’t rush him or pressure him because it won’t turn out like you hope. I did this with my husband about 1.5 years in and it scarred the shit out of him and we ended up fighting about and almost breaking up . I dropped it eventually because I loved him and just wanted to be with him even if we didn’t get married... scarred him him though and the damage was done. It took 4.5 more years for him to propose, it probably would’ve happened sooner had I not pressured him.

Ive been with my man over a year and im def ready to be engaged. Love him sooo much. Today he flat out told me he wants the same style of ring that Ive had made locally and although it’s not an engagement ring I love the idea of him wearing a ring that ive gifted & had made for him.
