I have no filter. My husband thinks I was a bit rude
I've met a few of my husband's coworkers but have never actually gone to his work until today (I barely leave the house but he left his phone at home so I went to take it to him).
I met a lot of people and one woman introduces herself by saying, "hi I'm Leslie, I'm your husband's work wife". And I responded by saying, "that's an odd way to introduce yourself to his actual wife".
She was a bit taken aback (we're clearly not going to be good friends, ha) and my husband thinks my response was a bit on the rude side. Which I suppose maybe it was but at the same time who says something like that? Am I wrong?
My gosh thank you ladies! My husband was making as if I've made their workplace so uncomfortable now but I mean really! And I also disagree about having workplace spouses! Husband is definitely going to get a talk when he gets home now now.
