Hospital Restrictions?

Just found out that the hospital I will deliver at is restricting visitors (again). I’ll go alone to all my appointments moving forward and  only 1 support person for delivery.  Anyone else with these restrictions?  Hoping that it doesn’t get worse! 😬

This has been the case for me the entire pregnancy. Honestly the no visitors or more than one support person doesn’t bother me... I’m not sure I would even want anyone besides my husband around 🤷🏼‍♀️

Atleast you get 1 support person... I’ve heard that they wasn’t letting no one in other than the mother to deliver alone... that’s what I’m worried about. This is my first pregnancy and I do not want to be alone!... so nervous. Due early Jan 2021

Our hospital (and I'm pretty sure every hospital in the UK) have been like that the whole time. The appointment thing is annoying BUT the birth doesn't bother me as I only want my husband there anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️

We’ve been doing this my whole pregnancy. Our hospital never lifted restrictions. I’m pretty happy about the no visitors after the baby. This is our 3rd and having visitors really want great with my first two

Our hospital has had these restrictions the whole time. Only doctor’s visit he was allowed to go to was the 20 week scan.

For me, I told my husband he didn’t have to come with after our first three most important appointments. I don’t expect him to sit with me through my glucose test and all of my appointments are generally the same thing. Weight, pee, listen to baby. 
The hospital I will be at is only allowing one support person, I’m bummed my mom can’t be with me for it, this is my first and her first grandchild. My husband will of course be with me.

Our hospital has been like this the whole time, but the small OB practice I go to stresses me out because there is always another family in the lobby, when I would love to bring my family but don't feel like it's an acceptable risk given our local cases, and it's never that everyone is wearing a mask.  I literally called every other OB that delivers at the hospital  (1 of 2 that is VBAC friendly / only one with family centered cesarean) I am delivering at, to see if I can switch doctors, but nope. I like my OB and planned home birth last time but I am just going to wait in the car for the rest of these appointments. 
I'm sorry you can't have visitors or more support. I'm nervous about having difficulty once we are at the hospital if me and partner aren't both covid negative, and we have the same restrictions here. Hugs (fake hugs without a cloud of mouth particles).

That’s how it’s been in my state since March.

That’s been me this whole pregnancy. All appointments alone. It will all be ok. Do ask if you can FaceTime any ultrasounds or call in so your partner can hear. That has helped me and my husband a lot. They also let me bring a flash drive to get any ultrasound pics or videos. It’s made my partner happy to have some sort of part and I feel better.
