Is it bad to cover baby’s hand at night time?

My baby is unswaddled now because she is rolling over, but she keeps on taking out her pacifier and grabbing the side of her bassinet or my arm. I feel like it could be what keeps her from falling asleep, so I covered one of her hands with the mitt that’s on the sleeve. Is that a big no no? 🤭

I had my baby's hands covered with the mits at night for a long time, otherwise she would wake up in the morning with scratches all over her face like Edward scissorhands  lol 😂

Mitts are fine. But there are also other swaddles you transition them to once they start rolling over and getting bigger. They’re sleep sacks. It’s not a snug swaddle where you pin down their arms. It has sleeves.

I put mitts or socks on my sons hands cuz he scratched. He’s 2 and still scratches in the winter.
