What do I do?

I asked my OBgyn to run some blood work i.had a suspicion my progesterone was my issue my blood.work showed normal levels on everything except my progesterone my levels were 
FSH 6.08 my LH 2.78 my Estradiol 76 and my Progesterone was <0.5 
This was on day 7 of my cycle from what i have researched the progesterone is post menopausal level...everything else is normal...what happens now does anyone have this issue and if so what did they do to help you get pregnant?

You want to do a cd21 blood draw, not cd7. That will show you the progesterone level that matters.

On day 7 of your cycle you should not be producing any progesterone it sounds normal

You can kinda guess if your progesterone is low. This usually results in shorter lutheal phase of less than 12 days at least. 11 is borderline but ten is barely cutting it for embryo implantation. Anything under ten full days is major red flag as long as you know your ovulation date and counted the days past ovulation correct.

Ask OBG to time your testing properly. I do not know what they were thinking testing for all of these cd7. Neither of them is tested cd7. I was told to test the estrogen fsh and lh exactly cd3 and progesteron cd21 in the same cycle. If they test you correctly and progesteron is still low you either did not ovulate or you did and you need progesterone support. This comes in forms of pessaries or progesteron oil rarely pill form. You just insert one pessary or do one pio shot after determining ovulation. I was on one pessary  morning one and pio shot every 4th day for ivf icsi. However for natural cycle is much less because for ivf icsi they take all follicles out and all eggs so no corpus lutheum no natural source of progesteron. For natural conception they just boost your naturally produced progesteron. I would have been furious to be misdiagnosed with menopausal levels of progesteron when they did testing wrong time rendering the results not reliable statistically. Imagine the stress the anguish the worry. Thanks God you posted here to ask.

Progesterone is produced mainly by corlus lutheum which is a gland that develops from the follicle which matured and released the egg. It takes ten to 25 days for the follicle to mature the egg depending on your cycle length. Prior to ovulation the only progesteron hanging around is either left over from previous cycle lutheal phase or the tiny bit adrenals  produce. Very few people ovulate day 7 to begin with. This level indicates you did not ovulate and you are not even close to ovulate. As other people mentioned progesteron is measured cd 21 at earliest if you ovulate cd 14 but some people do not ovulate even closest to cd 14. If you ovulate past cd 21 same will happen progesteron will be bellow 1. It won't go above few units prior to corpus lutheum formation which only happens after ovulation. Your doctor must draw the blood week after ovulation or cd 21 earliest. My progesteron was 29 at cd 21 in the cycle i ovulated cd 14. I am surprised they did not draw the bloods at the exact time. Fsh and lh are tested day 3 of the cycle not 7.

Mine was low at CD21, or a normal to low range. So my fertility doctor is having me do vaginal suppositories twice a day 200mg 🥰
