Does anyone else just really not like kids?

My boyfriend wants kids so bad (eventually) and I can tell he’s starting to get a little irritated at my dislike for them. I try not to make it obvious but my face is very telling. I do want kids one day but for now I just find them extremely irritating and pretty much always have. It’s really just the 3-15 range that bothers me and well that’s a good chunk lol I understand they’re developing and it’s not their fault and all. Still don’t want to be around them. Not everyone has maternal instincts for all children. 
Anyone dislike kids in general but is fine with their own?

I’m kinda the same way. I don’t hate kids.. I would just rather not be around any that aren’t mine. Mine could be on my last nerve but I can’t be without them for more than 5 hours lol

It’s different when they aren’t your own.
Trust me.
I neverrr dealt with kids growing up, didn’t know how to handle them and always felt awkward.
I’m now pregnant with my third, but other people’s kids still irritate me 🤷🏻‍♀️😂
I love the hell out of my kids, but there are some kids I just can’t stand. 🙄😬

100000000% relate. Even my niece and nephews and my friends kids irk me a little. But my daughter I’m totally fine with. I love her more than life itself and she have never annoyed me the way other people’s kids do. I always feel weird around other peoples kids because I feel like I need to be responsible for them but I don’t want to overstep and do something the parents don’t approve of.  Like my niece will jump all over my mother in laws couch. I wouldn’t let my child do it, but she’s not my child so I feel like I can’t tell her not to do things (unless they are an obvious issue) and that makes me uncomfortable.

You’re just not ready for kids and that is totally okay!! Don’t let your boyfriend pressure you into something you aren’t comfortable with. My ex always talked about wanting kids, but the thought of anyone’s kids or having my own kids seemed unappealing as hell at the time - likely because he wasn’t the right fit, and because I wasn’t ready or made to feel secure enough in our relationship to feel ready. Fast forward to meeting my husband, and suddenly the idea of having a family seemed manageable and desirable! I feel very loved, secure, and stable in my relationship, and had a near death experience/fertility scare that my husband took care of me through, so I felt extremely comfortable trying for kids of our own! We are currently expecting our first in June :-) You’ll feel ready when it’s time - don’t let anyone rush or pressure you!

Personally this makes no sense. Maybe you have had bad experiences. Also kids that are as young as 3 are in a learning stage behavioral wise as well. If that’s irritating idk what to tell you. Who’s to say your kids won’t be annoying lol. They are kids .

Generally speaking, NO
I like MY kids, actually enjoy their company, and a couple of the kids in my family, but I don't like most kids. 
To be clear, not liking kids doesn't mean I hate them, I just don't enjoy being around them. It's taboo to talk about it, but it's very common.

I don't like kids at all, luckily he and I are on the same page there. It's just a personal choice, and your shouldn't have to change on it if you don't want to!
