TTC 6months, should I be concerned yet?

At what point in time did/should you seek fertility treatment? We’ve been TTC for about 6 months now after getting my implanon (arm bc implant) taken out and have had no luck.
I’m starting to get anxious and having thoughts of my fertility being an issue. I’ve gotten pregnant twice before, once while on the pill.
How soon is too soon to seek fertility help? Is there such a thing as “too soon”?

Do not wait if you don’t want to. Do not listen to others telling you it’s normal. Go and start your journey. Get ALL your blood tests done, sperms test etc. this takes time so when your ready to take the next step it’ll all be ready for you to just go in and start treatment. 😉

I started talking to my pcp at 8 mo ttc (not gyno, she brushed me off and kept saying see ya in a year).  I knew something was wrong, we always had an active sex life, we used preseed/conceive plus, and opks and bbt matched. I recorded for months. Well my gut was right. Blood work found hypothyroidism and celiac (which I knew) and we eventually were diagnosed male factor at what would have been the year Mark. We did ivf 6 months after that

You are still very much in the normal window for TTC to conceive naturally. They recommend getting help after a year under age 35 and after 6 months at 35 and over. We went after we had been trying for 18 months.

It depends on your age as everyone said and also on your doc. When we first started TTC my obgyn at the time said to come back If not pregnant within 6 months. I was 27. Then my insurance changed and i had to switch docs, made an appointment with the new doc at 11 months of unsuccessful TTC and he would not order any tests, not even semen analysis because he said it hasn’t been a year 🙄

I turned to a fertility clinic after 6 months even though I was under 35 (I was 33 now 34) and I’m glad I did! Give it a try see if they’ll have you, if you can get the ball rolling even if it’s just having some (a lot) of blood work done, do it. For me personally it made me feel like I was doing something, best of luck! 🤞🏽

I am 26 and after a year my obgyn sent me to a fertility clinic. Depends on age. If over 35, they can send you after only 6 months.
