If it were you

If someone you are seeing stops replying to you at 10pm-ish while they were still up would you naturally think they’re being sly or would you just assume they decided to jump off their phone while they were up & then went to bed even though that’s not something they usually do? Usually he will go to bed and then we stop replying. We aren’t really the type to say goodnight BTW just because we started falling asleep on one another all the time - we just pick the convo up in the morning from where it left off. He was with a mate at this point getting him settled in to his dads home as he had been kicked out and needed a place to stay. I really don’t think he’s the type to keep me in his life when he knows how I feel about him and I know this because we were seeing each other last year and he became really dry, cut me off. But just an hour or two before he stopped replying I said how he needs to come up to my family home for another roast soon and he sounded really keen on it.

I know some might say that if you can’t trust someone then that says something but I just literally do not trust a single person in my life. I find myself making a villain out of everyone from friends to family to co-workers. I don’t project it on to them, but I make up these little stories in my heads and find myself believing them and bothered by them.
