Stay at home moms

I'm a stay at home mom and my little one is 9 weeks old, I'm exclusively breast feeding and I've had no need to introduce bottles yet so I've never tried to pump either.. I know eventually my SO and I will wanna go on an occasional date night and whatnot but other than that I don't see a need for pumping.. Ladies in similar situations, do you pump anyway? I don't know if I should be, or  do you just wait until you need/want to go out and then pump? I'm really lost when it comes to pumping. :/
