Question for Hispanic people
Ok, I need some opinions, and I don’t mean this in an offensive way AT ALL. I just figured I would ask here, since there’s so many different cultures here.
My friends recently bought a new house. I’m sending them a basket of house warming gifts, and I found this beautiful frame, and I want to personalize it. it would say the “last name family 2020” Their last name has a tilde above the N. The problem is the company can’t do a tilde over the N.
My question is- would it be offensive or wrong to buy it without the tilde? I feel like it would be, since I know the tilde changes the sound of the last name. But it’s a really beautiful frame and I want them to have it. So maybe it would be ok without the tilde?
My other option- just do the families first name? The only issue is right now- they currently have a daughter, and I know they were trying for a second baby. So if I do the first names then they have another child, the frame will be missing the next babies name.
Should I do just husband and wife’s first name? And leave off their daughters name?
Should I just forget the frame all together?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated
Again- I am sorry if I sound ignorant that is not my intention AT ALL
