Having IUI done twice in one week????

I've been seeing women post saying they have had two IUI done in the same week?? Do you decide that on your own or does your Dr suggest it??? Has it worked for anyone to do more than one in a week???

my doctor suggested doing IUI two days in a row once the ovulation test turned positive. my insurance covered both as 1 IUI cycle.

I choose to do two to increase our odds so I thought but it failed. I get my follicles checked tomorrow I wanted to do another double but bc of the holiday i don't think that's going to happen and with my work schedule I may have to skip this cycle all together
