Will my unborn baby be healthy?

Does any one ever consider not having biological children because your worried about the baby not being healthy during pregnancy? If I were to become pregnant, I would be nervous for my unborn child, especially because of all the possibilities of the baby having a disorder/disease/birth defect. Does anyone feel this way?
