Taking medication for allergies while pregnant ?

My allergies are out of control right now and I was wondering if I could take allergy medicine for it, if so what kind?

I’ve been taking regular Zyrtec (not the D)

My doctor prefers people to just take Benadryl. BUT, for people like me who have intense allergies, she’s fine with other OTC medicines. You should really ask your OB, as I’ve heard conflicting information about which ones are “safe” (even from other doctors, including my own allergist).
