Really sucks when you meet someone, especially after finally getting back out there and feeling confident again in yourself. And the guy is funny, nice, genuine, easygoing, and every other thing you want in a person. You have a good time together and hang out and just vibe really easily. Then after a while he hits you with a “I just wanna be friends with benefits right now”. There’s a little more backstory (he just got out of a relationship and over it last summer) but still. Just fucking sucks 🙄, oh well guess I have a new friend which is nice, but dammit I really wanted it to be more 😔
