Potty Training!?

Question

Who here has started or already have potty trained their Feb babe? How did it go? Any tips on what worked for you? Looking for any advice. 
After showing signs of being ready we decided since it is a long holiday weekend and we were all home that we’d start potty training. I already kind of regret it lol (staying positive in front of my daughter though).

I’ll probably wait until the summer to start.  I’ve read that parents are most successful & kids learn quicker if done between 2.5-3.5 years.

I started yesterday too! Day 2 was much easier. We made it to “wearing pants” phase while commando today and I thiiiink it’s going pretty good (but am afraid to jinx myself). She’s a daycare child so returning on Tuesday feels like such a looming day but trying not to put too much pressure on any of us this weekend.

We start December 18.  I’m way more confident in my daughters ability than I am in mine!  She’s totally capable of this - I just hope I’m a good enough teacher.  I’m nervous!

I wanted to but between being pregnant and doing school online with my year old its a big no. Thats alot of stress and mental power I just don't have the energy.  Especially since no one else in the house wants to help with it. I plan to start in February/ March after recovering and adjusting to baby #3.

I’m told to wait to potty train my boy until he’s a bit older. He doesn’t seem ready so I’m not rushing it

Mine just grabbed her portable changing pad and carried it around while she pooped. When she was done, she took it to the living room and laid on it for her change. I’m due in 2 weeks so will be waiting for her to adjust to her sibling before we try potty training.

He has been using the potty to pee since he turned one. I got the seat to get him used to sitting on it and he totally took off with it, but it hasn't gone beyond him peeing whenever he gets the seat or I ask if he needs to. I really want to get it finished since he's been going on it for months now, but I just haven't taken the final step. I think we're going to have to switch him to a toddler bed soon, so maybe that will be my push to get it done. 🤷‍♀️

my son seems interested ... he always tells me when he is peeing or pooping and even will try to go into the bathroom but i think he’s too young. i’m getting him a potty and a potty book for christmas so i’m going to slowly introduce it then and maybe start training when he’s 2. honestly it seems like a lot of work and i’m not ready !
