My son woke up with this rash this morning. He was perfectly fine all day yesterday and before bed I hadn’t seen anything on him. It doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all but I’m stressing ☹️ does anyone have any clue on what it could be ?

Looks like some kind of spider bite.

I’m not a doctor/nurse, so I’m just guessing... to me, it looks like a reaction to a bug bite. Do you see a mark in the middle of the rash that would indicate he got bit by something?  I’m sensitive to bee stings and that’s how my rash starts and just keeps growing over the course of days.  To see if the rash continues to spread, you can trace the border with a pen.  As long as the rash is localized and is not all over his body, I would think he was bit by something.  But, like I said, I’m no expert :).  Good luck!  I know it’s hard when they can’t tell us what happened or how they’re feeling.
