Schedule/routine??

Hi all ! 
My husband returns to work tomorrow 😬 I am nervous to be alone with my LO only because I am exclusively pumping. Besides his bedtime routine, should I strive for a routine/schedule at one month old?? Or do I just do my best to get through the day? Lol any advice for managing baby while EP’ing?

I’d just follow his lead, if he’s showing hunger cues then feed him as often as he wants for now. If he’s showing sleep cues then let him sleep. Babies fall into a schedule all on their own, so no I wouldn’t try to force it this early on. Likely in a few months u will notice him developing his own pattern and schedule.

I didn’t exclusively pump but I did pump pretty often for the first few months of my LOs life! Honestly the best thing to do is follow their lead! Pump whenever you need to and feed/sleep on demand! One of the things I wish I did when my LO was still in the newborn stage is to just let go of my need for a strict structure and follow babies lead. I stressed so so hard over wake windows and feeding schedules that I was driving myself crazy, but he fell into both naturally and now is a champ at sleeping through the night and eating lunch and dinner. Lol it never hurts to set up a good sleep routine early, like try your best to get him to sleep exclusively in a bassinet or wherever you’re having baby sleep so they get used to it, but being that they’re still so young it’s not the end of the world of sleep doesn’t go the way you expect. You got this, you’re gonna do great on your own! Soak up the majesty of what your are doing, and give yourself and baby so much grace, you’ll fall into a rhythm soon!

Some on the exclusively pumping train. It is hard. You just take your babies lead. At this point baby will let you know what it’s needs are and when. You got this momma!!

Sinding higs.Ive never exclusively pumped but as a mom of 3 w one due next week I can say that whatever u do take best care of you.Eat the same a she s used to bc one cup of coffee three my babys day off something fierce n too much sugar too .W my forst two I used daycares at 8 wks n 5 mos but baby number 3 I stayed at home.Definately sleep when he sleeps n co congratulations
