So I was thinking and I want to go out on a huge limb and take a chance. I want to ask my ex out on a date...I’m not usually the type to do anything like this BUT we have been separated for a year now but we keep in contact (maybe once a month or so). It’s pretty harmless contact but it’s the type of communication where you know we both care for each other even if we aren’t together. Lately I’ve been feeling risky and I know I still love him so I’m kind of like why not just try to give it a shot and stop waiting for someone else to make a move. I know it could go one of two ways but I don’t know how to do this. Do I ask him to go out w me? And just see how it goes? What do I say? How could I persuade him? I definitely know that I’d want to take it slow if anything were to actually happen.
