My 12 month old started eating purées at 5 1/2 months old, she does great with purées. But we have ALWAYS struggled with table foods. She wouldn’t put anything in her mouth until she was 9 months old. At 9 months old she finally started eating her puffs. And some mashed potatoes. Now she’s 12 months old and only will eat her puffs and purées. Nothing else. I’ve tried everything, I’ve put food on her table and just let her play with it to see if she’d eat it. Nothing, even as a baby she’s hated putting things in her mouth, she hated teething toys. She doesn’t like things to go in her mouth besides a pacifier. She is currently seeing a feeding therapist to hopefully get her to eat table foods! I’m a first time mom and losing my mind because it’s so stressful lol, Has anyone been through this?
