How far along am I?!?!

Mu husband and I just found out a few days ago that I'm pregnant. The doctor thinks I'm 6week but I haven't even been seen yet! I'm already showing quite a bit and we think I'm further along than what the doctor says. What do you think?

Is this your first or second? With my first, i didn't show for forever. With my second, I think it was almost instantaneous. I am pregnant with my third (only about 5 weeks) and I am soooooo bloated.

You could be 6wks and just bloated. I look like I'm 4 months or so (I'm only 7wks) and it's ALL bloat. But yes, go off your last period even if it didn't last long. The first day of ANY blood is your cycle.

You get bigger faster with each subsequent pregnancy so you probably are around 6 wks. The doctor only wants to wait because even if you were 8 wks it's too early to do a ultrasound (even Transvaginal)and actually see enough to get goo measurements. Just trust the droctora office. Why are you considered high risk?

I always think I'm further along then I am...I start showing at six weeks every time! But the doctored have always been right, this is my fourth pregnancy I am 5wks 1day and my belly button is already stretching!

Thank you Elizabeth, my last period wasn't even a period I bled for like three days but extremely light almost just spotting. With our first child I didn't start showing til I was about 5 months and even then it was a small bump that only looked like a muffin top. I have asked to go in early to fully determine how far I am but they won't see me til next month. Which is crazy considering I'm high risk pregnancy.

Go off of your last period date. Also an ultrasound would be able to measure, but they aren't always accurate. Neither is period days, but it gives an idea until the ultrasound date. Your due date can change all the time. But I agree, showing at 6 weeks? You must be further along. I didn't start showing top 14 weeks. Well actually 20 weeks. But everyone is different. Good luck!
