Want twins???💖💙😍

Okay so hear me out. I have an overwhelming want for twins. I want 4 kids and I already have 2. So twins would be the last pregnancy I’d have to go through. And I’ve already had 2 kids 11 months apart. I know it’s different but I mean it’s Irish twins so I know what 2 babies is like sort of. And I don’t want 2 more pregnancies but I want 2 more babies. That way if I have to have another c section it would be a one and I’m done right? Man let me know if anyone else thinks like this 😅

Having had a horrible delivery complication with a singleton, healthy pregnancy, and 1 baby who was an awful awful sleeper - I don’t hope for twins. Increased complications for mom and babies, twice the newborns and toddlers and exhaustion. I’m accepting it as a possibility, since I’m taking Clomid, but the safest, easiest thing would be to have a singleton.

That’s a big no for me 🤣 but totally understand what you’re talking about. All babies are blessings and if you can have two babies and only one pregnancy, labor and delivery then sounds ideal to me!

I had my first 7 months ago & im 5 months pregnant with identical twin girls as well. Definitely didn’t plan or necessarily want this but blessed to say the least 💗💗💗

A secret part of me wants twins.  BUT the rational part of me is very happy with just one at a time.  I nurse on demand and until they start walking my babies are basically attached to my hip.  We are ttc our last one and if it’s twins I will secretly be happy. If it’s one I’ll be relieved lol

Before having kids i didn't want any. Then it was no more than 3. Now i have 3 and want allllll the babies 😂 jk but i kind of really want twins if hubby gets on board with ttc again

I wouldn’t want the health risks and complications that are more likely  with twins. I’d rather have a better chance at one healthy baby.

I have a friend who is a twin and that's exactly what her mom wanted. One boy, one girl, one go! Shes a pharmacist (which probably helped her to know what to ask for) and when she was ttc she asked her doctor for medication to make her hyper ovulate and have multiples. Ofcourse it wasnt a sure fire thing, but it worked for her 🤷

Not me lol. Twins run on my mom's side of the family, that increases my chances a little bit. But 9 years worth of fertility issues. 5 yrs 1 month to my first pregnancy, I miscarried. 2 yrs 1 month to our daughter, she'll be 3 in a few months. Another 1 yr 8 months to our most recent. Missed miscarriage at 9 weeks in Feb of this year. So I have issues getting and staying pregnant. Twin pregnancies are so much more high risk than I'm willing to go through. I was already terrified with every pregnancy following my first loss,  even more so following the second loss. Mentally and emotionally I would have a hard time with a twin pregnancy. The fears would be amplified 10 fold. Just based on my personal experience with pregnancy. 
That said I know a few people who have had twins and been just fine. They haven't been through the things I have and haven't had to feel the things I've felt. Which I would never wish on anyone. But that shows how much personal experiences really impact how you feel about it. I just know twin pregnancies are harder on both mama and babies. I'd obviously do it if I wound up with a twin pregnancy, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be absolutely terrified the entire time.

They run in my family, so who knows, it might happen!
