FTM here so sorry if this question sounds dumb but I’m just curious if anyone else is experiencing this with their little one!?

My baby girl is 11 months old and lately there has been a lot of actively defiant behavior coming from my usually sweet, happy girl! Example: throwing food off high chair, being told no (she knows what it means), continuing to do it, then we remove the food from the tray and then she yells and clenches her fists at us. Another examples is hitting the dog, being told no and I grab her hand away, then she continues to do it and yells and screams when we pick her up and remove her. She throws little tantrums.

My question is, isn’t it a little early for her to be acting this way? I feel like this usually happens closer to two years old. My mom said that’s when her kids started to act this way. I understand learning and testing limits so maybe that’s all this is. Just seems young!
