Dull ovary pain on both sides

My ovulation was last week I should start my period in 8days according to my log which has been on point or very close. I started to feel pain in my ovaries not very painful but weird because I’ve never felt this ever since I started paying attention to my body. I had cramps before my period and I have yet to get any not sure if that matters. Does anyone know what it is? I feel like it’s too early for a pregnancy test. I’m kinda scared cause I don’t know what my body is doing. By the way I had sex on the highest percentage day and two days prior to that.
