Baby kidney development

Hello mamas,

I am currently 36w4d with my second baby boy. I went for an ultrasound earlier this week and the sonographer noticed something with my sons kidney. I’m not sure if it was both or just one but my Dr told me usually kidney development stops at a size 7. But my sons’ kidney is around 7.8. I was wondering if that is normal? Or has anyone else gone through this. I go back for another ultrasound next Wednesday to confirm what they saw, and I’m kind of freaking out a bit.
