Anyone not doing a baby shower or sprinkle?

Times are just so weird with COVID and my location being on a hunker down (lockdown basically... everything is mostly closed). I don't have close family (excwpt sister who lives with me) and almost no friends (literally I have one person here I talk to and one person In another state). No one has mentioned or shown interest in the baby or registry either so I feel like I would be begging if I share my registry. I decided not to do a baby shower either. 
I just feel like maybe I'm thinking too hard into it? Being too modest or practical? I have most of the basics for the babe since I went on a spree for black friday lol.

This is my second so I’m not doing a shower. I did make a registry to help myself stay organized and I will share it with anyone that asks.  Plus some registry sites offer discounts and welcome kits.

I've thought long and hard about this and decided against holding a baby shower - virtual or otherwise, even though this is my first baby. With the current pandemic and economic situation, I don't feel comfortable giving out a baby registry.  Close friends and family will most likely send gifts when the baby is here but I don't want anyone to feel like they have to. This is a difficult time for everyone and while I would love to get together with all my friends and family I just don't think it's the right thing for me to do personally. 
This is totally my opinion and if others want to have a shower, all the power to them. We all have to make our own choices. Hope this helps 💜

I'm not having one. We are starting to close back up little by little. Im not comfortable putting everyone at risk like that. And im not so great virtually (lol I find it awkward)  I've sent the registry to people who've asked.

Not doing a shower because of pandemic but I did post my registry because why not? My social media with friends and family they ain’t going to judge me, if they get me something they get me something if they don’t they don’t, but the list is out there. Helps me keep organized and better than people awkwardly asking if they can get me something snd what, now they can look and see and decide for themselves

Same, no one has asked about doing one or brought up my registry once so I’m assuming nothing will probably happen. I did make one but for myself to keep a list of what I need. This is my third and last, but my first and second were 7 years apart so obviously nothing was saved from my first and while my second is only 2, I donated all of her belongings to women in my area in need at the beginning of COVID 🥺 I’m grateful to have helped so many women, but now I have nothing and it would’ve been nice to save some things. I wasn’t ovulating or getting a period because I was nursing for so long so the pregnancy was a bit of a surprise. Not that we weren’t hoping for it to happen, but I just assumed we still had a while to go! And of course I lost my income a couple months ago, and my husband was temporarily furloughed after we found out, so it’s just perfect timing to add the stress of having to buy everything on our own all over again. Ugh oh well, this year has just been insanity all around. I was only semi spiraling today realizing we only have less than 13 weeks to get everything together 😂

I’m not doing a shower! It’s my second, my oldest is four years older than number two. I made a registry as I have had family ask me for it but I’m not planning on posting it to social media or anything like that. My friends have talked about doing a small brunch with our immediate friend group sometime in February to celebrate and do gifts but if that’s falls through, I won’t be devastated. These are strange times and Covid will be around for a bit longer.
