Do I have to do taxes?

I just got my first job and by the end of the year I will have made about $800(very crappy minimum wage part time job). I've heard that if you make so little on one year you don't have to do taxes but idk if that's true. Will I have to do my taxes next year?

If you get a W2, you have to file it. I got one for literally $8 and had to file it
