Trace protein in urine

At my appointment this week (37 weeks) they found trace amounts of protein in my urine. They wont do another test until a week and a half later since it was a small amount and they think it’s just something I ate. This is the first time it’s happened and I can tell by looking at my urine that there’s still protein in it. Ive read this is a sign of preeclampsia and have been worried ever since. I’m thinking of going and getting a urinalysis at the hospital and getting my blood pressure checked. Anybody have any thoughts or something similar happen? Ive never had any protein in my urine and im 37+4 today
