Car insurance

I live in Louisiana and I'm starting up work soon meaning I have to get insurance on my vehicle. It'd just me on it. What do y'all pay for car insurance? I'm looking for low cost insurance cause I'll only be making like $780 a month. I don't want it to be really crappy though because if I get in a car wreck that wouldn't be good. My monthly expenses are around $500

I know I can get quotes, just looking for perspective
