Anyone else?

Anyone else just feeling soooooo not ready? This is my first, she was unplanned, we are excited, but just feeling not ready. Like wait, she has to come out? To here? And I have to give her everything? And somehow know exactly how to do that? I know once she is here, we will figure it all out, but just feeling very in over my head!

Last night my husband asked if I was still nervous and anxious or starting to get excited. My answer was just yes. I have no pain tolerance, so I’m terrified of labor and recovery (especially tearing). My husband was( and still is) a fussy baby, and I’m worried our daughter is going to be just like him. I don’t expect perfection or knowing what to do all the time, and seeing other women in my life turn into moms has been helpful. But still. I said to my husband the other day “Babe, we don’t even know how to change a diaper!”

Lol we are on our third planned baby and feel like this every time. Totally normal feeling. You got this mama 💪🏼

Hi, OP here! Thank you all for your comments. It helps so much to know that these feelings are normal and don’t say anything about what kind of parent/mother I’m going to be. My baby was planned but now everything I wanted for the birth is no longer going to happen because I'll have to have a csection because he is still breech at almost 37 weeks so I'm not ready for that I don't know how I'm supposed to take care of a baby while healing from a major surgery and I just feel really scared about all the risks and possibilities of surgery

My second was not planned and we had just moved to a different state, started new jobs, and my first was only 13m. I was distant from the whole pregnancy and was kind of mad at being robbed of the experience and was terrified. When she got here that all went away! She fell right in! Felt like she was meant to be there and it was perfect!! Try not to worry. God has a plan!

Yes I’m starting to freak out. It’s hit me he’ll be here in two weeks or less. Mine was unplanned. My sons father dipped out of state. But I have an amazing supportive boyfriend. But I have so much anxiety that I won’t know what to do. FTM
