Fiance gave me hand warmers for my birthday

Like 120 hardwarmers... the heat packs.

And I also got a pointsettia from his mom.... they know I can't taste and smell from covid since March ....

Am I wrong for feeling slided on my birthday? I feel like I got all "winter/ Christmas things"

My aunts fiance said I better think long and hard before I say I do. 🤣

Not complaining or trying to sound ungrateful etc but I just figured I'd get stuff like candles or coffee or some jewlery

His sister just handed me coffee table coasters that looked like it was part of a bigger pack bc it was all loose

Also: I can taste coffee bc I've drank it enough. And candles are nice to just burn regardless. The point was that its generic thoughtless non personalized safe gifts.

Edited to add: going to lunch for a Korean BBQ with my family and us and now he just invited all his friends and his siblings... lol this isn't his party with his friends and siblings.... so I feel slided in that regard considering the other day it was supposed to be just me and him and my family.

No. Thankfully neither of us are in a hard spot financially.
