Clomid

I was prescribed a period starter and clomid to help conceive my 2nd 10 months into ttc because I had irregular periods and was ovulating every other month, well the day before I was supposed to start the cycle starting medication I got a positive pregnancy test, fast forward to my baby being a year old and breastfeeding which causes me to have no period, I'm ready to have my 3rd but I know I'm going to have a hard time with my cycles being messed up. I've been eyeing my unused clomid that the dr gave me but would it be wrong to take it this time around? Clomid was hard to get prescribed you have to be trying for 6+ months for them to consider prescribing it to you, I dont think I could wait that long again. Thoughts? What would you do?
