Mature follicles on 50mg Clomid?

Did anyone have mature follicles on 50mg of clomid? Did you ovulate? The had my scan yesterday and there were a bunch of small follicles like 20 in each ovary. My doc said they looked like chocolate chip cookies 🤢 and of course what they would call PCOS- something I long suspected I had because my periods would be regular and then a little weight gain and they go MIA.

I just completed my first ever clomid round of 50mg and slowly waiting if I ever get a period within the next 9 days. My doc said my lining was at 15 and with a period should shed to a 6. The last “period” I had was induced by medroxyprogesterone in November because my last period was in April 2020. However this period wasn’t what I would call a true period. It was vvvvl that I never used all of my pad. With that being said I’m wondering if this is why this cycle failed or so what? I did have a positive opk and intense ovulation pain so I don’t know what to think.
