Tips on boosting my breastmilk
First & foremost, I love breastfeeding. It’s a bond with my baby like no other, but I’m slightly worried. Maybe I’m overthinking it but I need help, some tips, some advice. Just wanna know from other moms who’ve had this problem.
I breast fed my 1st baby girl. I pumped a lot of milk & everything went smoothly. I breastfed until she was 1 ½yrs old.
My 2nd baby (R.I.P), sadly I didn’t get a chance to breastfeed & I was painfully engorged. The nurse recommended me to wrap up my breast, not to pump the milk, to reduce the milk.
*Now she said that it won’t effect any other pregnancy or me breastfeeding again.*
Now that I have a baby again, my milk came in again, I pumped up to 8 to 10 bags of milk, 4-5oz per bag during the first six weeks. Now it seems like my milk production has slowed down & he is eating a lot. I will breastfeed him, & it seems like it’s not enough. I would feel my milk coming in while he eats as well. I will admit i would lose my appetite here & there, but I’m constantly drinking a lot of water. Probably doesn’t make up for it.
Also I would try to pump, & it’s like I’m wasting a whole bag.
