Should I go to the ER?

Question

I was given pills to induce an abortion on 11/3. I have been bleeding ever since and my OBGYN is not concerned at all. She claims it’s old blood on my cervix, when she went to look. However, it’s not. I have told her it’s bright red all day and I even have some clots here and there. She has done transvaginal ultrasounds and says nothing is remaining. 
I passed the baby two days after taking the pills and the bleeding is not stopping. 
Should I go to the ER or will this just waste their time?

No, it’s normal. You will bleed up to 4-6 weeks. I think it depends how far you were at ur pregnancy. I’m still bleeding , & I had my abortion on November 6th . I took the pills. If you need to talk , I’ll all ears .

If she has checked with an ultrasound and nothing is left. If you go to the ER they can give you a second opinion to make sure nothing is left. 
If there is nothing there then your body is just clearly blood and yeah its normal. I had a missed miscarriage I had to take pills for to get rid of. And I legit bleed for like 2 months. Even though I passed the baby in the first week. 
I had a couple ultrasounds to check to make sure I wasn't retaining anything. So a second opinion wouldn't be bad. But if they say it's good then you just need time.

It depends on how much your bleeding and if your passing any clots and how big they are. I bled for 4-5 months after my abortion

It depends on how heavy it is and if you bleed for over 8 weeks. I’d say you’re fine but i mean if it’s severe and going past 2 months i’d say go to the ER or back to your same physician

Wouldnt hurt to get a second opinion,  maybe there's bits left behind that she missed seeing? I think that can cause continuous bleeding. I dont know if its the same pill but with my first miscarriage I took it to get things going and I bled heavily for a while it was rough lol I think I bled for about 5 weeks or so. I cant remember what the pill was called, its a bit of a blur.
