After D&C

So I had a D&C on Monday (10 weeks pregnant) then afterwards had pretty bad cramping. I ended up in the emergency room with full blown contractions on Friday night and they checked everything and said it looked good, just having extra pain because of my bicornuate uterus. Since my procedure I have only had very light brown spotting but today (almost a week after my d&c) I’m having heavy bright red bleeding today. Is this normal? I mean the doctor at the ER two days ago said everything looked good (I was only having the old blood spotting) but am I bleeding now because they poked around so much at the hospital? I didn’t think I would get no blood then heavy bright red blood like this? Just confused
