I just got prescribed birth control for the first time and my period is supposed to start in a few days. I am wondering if it’s best to wait after I finish my next period to start the birth control or is it ok to just start taking it now? I don’t want to have to deal with any future problems such as getting pregnant so I am wondering what is best to do.
