Anybody else’s mind still blown that they actually gave birth?

I still look at my 21 month old (22m in an hour 😬) and 6 month old and think “holy crap I can’t believe I grew you!  & that you’re mine!”  I am still just so in awe that I grew them and got through childbirth.  Idn my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage so maybe that’s why I feel that way.  Anyone else?

Yeah, I’m happy that she came out MUCH smaller than she is now. But I cannot imagine life without her and my baby fever sometimes makes everything feel bittersweet because we won’t be our sweet little 3-person family forever ❤️ regardless of how many kiddos we all have, these are all such special times!

I’m personally more amazed that I’m already starting to feel okay about doing it all again 😂. She’s my first and her birth really did a number on my body (to the point that I need a c-section next time) and she was such a screamy newborn who fought breastfeeding and naps. But here I am thinking “maybe it’s time to start thinking about baby #2!”
Also amazed at how much she’s grown since then. This whole process (life) is so bonkers!

I've been spending the past few months more stunned that it was the last time I will ever have life inside me. 3 kids at our age is plenty, but so sad that I will never again feel those deep baby kicks and (believe it or not) the experience of delivery. We women are warriors.

Me 🙋‍♀️ I look at her every day in amazement that she was inside of me and I grew her myself (with some help from my husband haha) and that I gave birth to her. We tried to get pregnant for 13 months before her, so getting pregnant with her was really special to us. It’s still hard to believe that she’s here. I look back at my belly pics all the time and can’t believe a tiny human that was inside of me now sits next to me on the couch and can hold her own bottle lol

I was kissing my daughters feet yesterday and told her “I grew these!” Then it hit me like woah, I actually made this whole child 😂

Yes I feel the exact same way! This is my first baby after a miscarriage too, and I do think it makes me extra appreciative. I also cannot believe I gave birth 6 months ago already! 🤯

I've never had a miscarriage but I feel the same. I was literally looking at my daughter earlier and was like wow, 6 months ago you could barely keep your eyes open and now you're sitting all on your own. And before that? You lived inside me and couldn't live without me. It's  astonishing.
