Is this early labor???

I’m due next week, but I’m having super painful contractions! I can still talk through them, but they are WAY more intense than BH. Could it still be early labor with them being this irregular?

Yes. I had irregular contractions when I was pregnant with my daughter. I went in when I couldn’t talk through them and they admitted me bc I was already 4cm. Mine never became regular.  Keep tracking them and call your doctor when they feel worse.  I had her early at 38w4d.

You can get contractions early. If they are painful my OB says they are the real deal but untill they are the same times or your water breaks she wouldn't let me come in. Im 2 cm 30% effaced and get these everynight for the past week. She said its called prolonged labor. Where your body may be ready but baby is not so you progress slow.  Mine always end up stopping after about a hour and a half so if yours keep going call your OB. Your body may need help.

Mine have been like this (I’m 38+3) but mine seems to go away after a couple hours. If yours keep coming, I’d definitely call my ob even if they are irregular.

Mine were like that in my early labor. I talked through all my contractions. Had I waited until I couldn’t I would have given birth at home. I’d call your doctor and see what they advise.

Mine looked like this and when I went in I was 3cm had my son that night.

It could be I had contractions with my youngest 10-15 mins apart and my water broke a few hours later

From my experience I'd say no! Looks like Braxton Hicks. They can get very intense! I had them too in my third Pregnancy for 4 weeks like this. Very irregular 5-15 minutes apart lasting 30-60 seconds and intense enough that I had to breathe through them.
