are kn95 safe during pregnancy?

i’m 14 weeks pregnant and my job is requiring us to wear kn95 during this covid crisis . does anyone know if it’s safe to wear these masks during pregnancy ? i heard something about the fibers inside the mask not being safe . can someone please help!?

I haven’t heard this, in fact KN95 are supposed to be excellent filters, a step below medical grade. My OB hasn’t said anything about avoiding a particular mask type because of the material. I also did a quick research and can’t find anything online about this and all reputable sources say these masks are fine for pregnancy—they even did studies for 12 hours and the women were fine.

I don't think the materials are a problem, at least I've never heard anything. These masks are often used in construction to protect against inhaling fiberglass particles, which IS unhealthy, so that might be the confusion.
