Mould in basement

Hello, I’m renting an apartment for 1150 + hydro & gas. I was doing laundry downstairs & it stinks so bad down there, so I inspected & I saw white mould all over the floor. I’m pregnant as well & my son was recently diagnosed with croup & I researched if mould can cause croup, it does!

I’m texting my landlord in the morning so she can have maintenance have it get cleaned & explain to her how my son got a respiratory illness from the mould. I worry it’ll always come back, would this be a good enough reason to get out of my lease? I literally just moved in here November 1st but my sons health & my unborn babies health is more important!
