Is my in law a narcissist?

Is it weird for my MIL to ask my husband about my pregnancy, but when she speaks to me it’s like my pregnancy doesn’t exist? She’s not once shown any interest when I’ve spoken to her.... I’m starting to wonder if she has a narcissistic streak in her. 
This after two years of her being generally weird towards me. I’ve no doubt my in laws dislike me...

I feel like that word gets thrown around a lot. She just may not like you, doesn't mean she has a personality disorder.

It’s possible that she might just not feel comfortable with you and be uncomfortable starting a conversation. It’s also possible that she doesn’t like you I suppose but nothing about what you’ve written here leads me to believe she’s narcissistic.

There are a lot of potential reasons. Maybe she is giving you space not wanting to ask too much or seem like she is interrogating. Maybe she just doesn't like you. Maybe she thinks you don't like her so she's standoffish. Maybe she misses her son now that he's married and having a baby and busy. It doesn't necessarily mean she is a narcissist.

Is she needy with your hubby my mil saw me having a baby as an end game to the competition she put us in. She even said after baby was born that now my hubby loves me and baby more than her. I think she just knew that even though she hasn’t been his number one since I have been around it sealed the deal for her and he started telling her no a lot more so it made me what she hated when In reality we were just being normal new parents.

This is 100% my MIL. She’s been like this for all three of my pregnancies. When we announced our pregnancy for this most current one, she gave my husband a big hug and didn’t say a word to me. We don’t speak unless we’re in person but she’ll never ask how I’m doing, how my appointments have gone, etc. she talks to my husband on the phone a few times a week and asks him instead. Honestly, for me, I prefer it this way, I want nothing to do with my MIL so the less interest she shows in me the better. With my first pre fb Andy, the only comments she ever made were rude ones about how I didn’t look pregnant (I had a small bump the whole time) and that I didn’t eat enough. She even threatened to not throw me a baby shower if I didn’t look pregnant enough (jokes on her, I didn’t want a baby shower), but of course since she wanted to show off she threw one anyways 🤦🏼‍♀️. My in-laws can’t stand me, the feeling is mutual for sure.

Maybe she just doesn’t want to offend you ... my sister in law is pregnant now and gets offended about everything. Literally everything. We are walking on eggshells. Not saying you are that way, but maybe she’s excited you’re pregnant and just doesn’t want to upset you by saying anything wrong?

Iv been married to ny husband for a year together 3 years and friends for 6 years. I have known his sister the entire time. She will not and has not asked me about the baby once but she calls my husband and ask what else we need how im doing how is baby... at first it bothered me and then I said ... whatever. Bc its not a battle I wanted to even deal with.  I guess he told her bc she finally texted me around 32 weeks and said how is the baby and how are you? My MIL lives in a different country so I dont ever see her anyways.
