landlord lawsuit ??

okay so i’m going to try to keep this short. basically ever since we moved in ( 2 years and 9 months ago) our landlord has not done any inspection in our home. anytime we have a problem he comes to check it out himself or has one of his “buddies” to come take a look at it. We have cracks on the wall, cracks on the windows, i’m pretty sure there’s termite damage, our bathroom generates mold like crazy, our light switches are even lifting off of the wall (i got shocked once), our stairs don’t have a railing, and i’m pretty sure the foundation is over all shitty; everything is uneven. oh and can’t forget the time our ceiling fan/light was leaking water???? like ??? what??? again he had his buddy come take a look at that. and on top of that the pandemic hit my husband and i pretty hard and we were late on our rent for like 3 months until we got our situation together. Well our landlord was not only harassing us with eviction but he was still charging us late fees (still is). says that any date after the first is late (fair i guess). i have a home inspection set up and i plan on contacting my borough tomorrow. i just want to know what you guys think and do you believe we might have a lawsuit on our hands?? what would you do?
