Anybody tried this brand before?
Its called the zuviacup. I ordered them off amazon it was only $10 for 2 small and 2 large. I really wanted to try out a cup again but didn't want to spend a lot of money. The first time I tried it was before I had a baby and i liked it but it was hard for me to get out and I got scared and threw it away. Anyways I wanted to try again because I have a newborn and am breastfeeding and Im a stay at home mom now so i thought that it would be an easier option considering you can wear one for up to 12 hours. I've done a lot of research on using a menstrual cup so i feel more confident about trying it again. Also Im getting an IUD in at my 6 week postpartum check up (I don't plan on using it till my ob says its ok to) as long as i get the ok to. Does anybody else use a cup with an IUD too? When I asked my ob before I had my baby she said it was a better alternative to pads then tampons because some people push the tampon up farther and that the cotton in the tampon could tug on the strings and shift it out of place. I don't know if this is proven or if she had patients that it happened to or what its just what she told me. Where as a cup sits a little lower and that as long as I pinch the bottom of the cup to break the seal that it should be fine.
