With pandemic no sprinkle this time but would still create a registry? Baby #2 is opp. Sex

During a pandemic I don’t plan on have a sprinkle or shower for baby #2 (a girl 1st was a boy) and we also live 8hours from family. But ive seen women posting registries on Facebook and stuff. I’m not sure if this is appropriate or if we should Bc of how things are these days. Any suggestions or advice is very helpful.

Unpopular opinion but I think at baby #2 its a little tacky to have a registry. People who care will gift you things like close family and friends if they want to. You can’t ask people to buy gifts for every baby you have. Dont attack me its my personal opinions!

We did so we could keep track of what we needed. We only sent it to my mom when she asked. Otherwise we used it for the completion discount.

I would make a small registry bit only send it to family or friends that mention they'd like to get you/baby something you need.

I personally made one just to keep track of what we needed. It's also nice to get the coupons that come along with it. I would only give it out to people who ask what you need or if they can get you anything.

I signed up for a registry just for the coupons. And that way if family asks what we need I already have an easy list to point them to.

If anyone asks if we need anything, i just tell them they dont have to get anything but if they insist, i ask for diapers or the formula we use just in case i cant breastfeed.

I had a daughter and then got pregnant a year later with another. I still made a registry for my friends who ask what we need or what we want. Its also a good way for my husband and i to share ideas on what we want to see in the nursery and to keep track of what weve purchased

I made one to get the free stuff and the completion discounts, but also as a way to keep track of what I wanted or thought I needed, and it gave me an easy list to send to my dad who asked what I wanted/needed. I didn't publish it anywhere, in fact I didn't even make it searchable, because we weren't doing a sprinkle/shower/party/gathering where I expected to receive presents.

I had a boy first, then a girl. It was also during the pandemic.  
I didn't do anything. I reused basically everything from my son. 
And anyone who wanted to do something reached out to me and asked what we needed/wanted or just surprised me. 
Personally I don't think people should do sprinkles or showers for the second (unless likenits YEARSSSS apart) but thats just me. 
Also even though I didn't ask I ended up with A LOT of stuff.
