I think there is some bad language and inappropriate stuff in it and young kids don't have a filter between there brain and there mouth and you don't want them going to school and saying some inappropriate line to their teacher. I just depends on how mature the kid is and if you tell them don't say that when they say something bad.

It's so funny bc my husband and I just watched this (it was my first time seeing it) and were discussing it. I'm really not a fan of gratuitous violence or violence for the sake of comedy so it probably isn't a movie I'll be actively showing my kids. The second one is even worse. My husband and I were both uncomfortable with how violent is was. No blood or anything obviously but it was basically torture porn for kids, and it was supposed to be funny. It was gross, so nah, not in my household 😬

I personally remember being scared of the furnace in the basement (some 15+ years ago) so I’d wait a little while just to see what their level of fear is for other things.
(I only say that because I used to be scared of the “heffalump” song in Winnie the Pooh as a kid. Guess I was a wuss 😂😂😂)

My son watched it this year. He liked it too much and saw it like four times in three days. He is 4.5 years old and honestly don't think it's appropriate. I saw it as a kid though and it was all good. I didn't realize how bad it was until I was watching it with him
