So I've been talking to this guy for a little over a month. We met through my cousin who he's good friends with. I like him A LOT and I know he likes me and has asked me out multiple times. I've said yes but we haven't hung out yet because of the plague lmao.

There's just one problem. He's 23. I'm 18. I don't feel like it's that big of an issue, honestly. It didn't bother me until I saw other people act like it's weird. When we talk it doesn't feel weird or like I'm talking to someone who's more mature than me. There is no power imbalance.

My friends say it's weird and that he's a creep for even talking to me and now I'm not so sure. He's really genuinely nice and I just don't feel like 5 years is that big of a deal? Also, my cousin is a good person, she wouldn't be friends with some weird creepy dude, so I guess that makes me feel better about it.

But I'm really confused and need some outside opinions!!!
