Paragard issues anyone?

I got the Paragard back in August and they said it would only cramp for a few days and then go away, but I cramp intermittently when I'm not having my period. There's also occasional spotting as well. When I'm on my period with the IUD it is a hellfire of cramping that I've never experienced before. I never used to get cramps. Has anyone else had this issue? If if got resolved then how?
