17 weeks pregnant, heavy cramps, should I go to the hospital?

I’m 17 weeks today and I’ve had bad cramps for the past 3 days and today they are worse, It’s pretty painful to walk and I feel really heavier in the lower abdomen area . 
First pregnancy so don’t know if I’ll look silly going into the hospital for this. 
Any advice please

I would call your OB. They should have a doctor or nurse on call 24/7. They can tell you if you should go in or not

I’ve never made it to 17 weeks but I would call the doctor’s emergency hotline. They most likely will tell you to go to ER as it’s the weekend but at least talk to them first. I would be hesitate especially if I wasn’t bleeding as ER=crazy bill depending on insurance. But might be worth it if they find a reason and can help.

I would call first. I had this same thing around that time and still don’t really know what it was. I sat around a hospital for 4 hours just for them to say “baby is fine, check with your OB”

I would call. I had what I thought was the same thing and turned out to be just round ligament pain. But even though everything was fine I’m so thankful I called just for the peace of mind
