Snoo smart sleeper - is it worth it?

Has anybody had / bought / considering buying the snoo smart sleeper? It is sooo expensive! I am seriously considering it but would love to hear from other Mumma’s!

We had one. It helps so so so much, especially in the first couple of months. But my husband and I are older, and can’t go without sleep as easily as someone on their 20’s. We also used it for 2 kids, and two of our friends used but for their babies. We’ll sell it as soon as this baby grows out of it. You might be able to get one used, or they often have sales. I hope this helps!

I had no idea what it was and had to look it up. Then I about fainted at the price in comparison to what it actually is. Why on earth would anyone pay this much for what looks like a bassinet? Am I missing something here??

You can also rent it. I rented it with my son but not until he was 7 weeks or so and boy do I wish I used it earlier. I’m due in March and I’m going to rent it again and have it set up for the baby right away. It eased my anxiety about the baby rolling over and it definitely soothed and helped him sleep better. It was definitely worth it to me.

I’ve be used it, but our friends bought it and absolutely loved it. They said it really helped with sleep training, but we had a Halo (the Essentia series with no vibrations or anything extra) and our son was sleep trained by 8 weeks so it definitely wouldn’t have been necessary for us, but if you have a difficult baby it might be worth it. I know they have a rental option so you might want to look into that.
