Not putting on enough weight?

Hi everyone, is anyone else worried that they may not be putting on enough weight during pregnancy? My anatomical scan is still 2 1/2 weeks away and i’m freaking iut about the baby being small 😞. I’m 16 weeks and 5 days and have put on 2-3lbs during pregnancy.

Depends on your prepregnancy weight too. I started off overweight and have actually lost 10kg and Im at 27weeks

When not pregnant I stay between 115-120lbs. Most of weight doesn’t pile on until the third trimester, and even then nurses/drs are always along the lines of  “omg you still look good, you’re just all belly”
For each pregnancy I typically gain somewhere between 20-30, but it definitely doesn’t look that way at all.
It all depends on your body! If your dr isn’t mentioning anything abnormal about your weight, don’t worry about it.

Your weight gain doesn’t always correlate with babies. I never really gain much weight with my pregnancies until about 20/22 weeks and then I like explode in weight gain between then and my 30 week appointment. Lol and then it slows down again, you’re still very early you shouldn’t gain that much weight at 16 weeks baby is still teeny tiny

It really depends on your weight prepregnancy as well!!! I gained a total of 17 lbs and most of that was not until the 3rd trimester!!! If your doctor isn’t concerned then you are just fine :)

Everyone gains differently. If your OB hasn’t said anything about it than I wouldn’t worry. Really you gain the most weight toward the end of your second trimester till the end.

Thatvis absolutely normal hun. Uou will gain the most in the third trimester, and that will be all baby. Weight gain isnt anprimary concern so much as making sure baby is growing accordingly.
